Hi!

I'm a lifetime Norwalk resident and mother of two teenage boys. I have been married for almost 21 years to my Norwalk Fire lieutenant husband who is also a lifetime Norwalk resident.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis...because one debilitating disease just is not enough! I'm usually outgoing and friendly, but I'm somewhat quiet and shy in any fitness facility. I spend my swim time in the warm water pool as cold water is disastrous to my nerves and renders me nearly immobile (a fun fact I learned the hard way).

I'm grateful that Velo-CT is so close to my home and physical therapy so I don't have many excuses for missing. It was refreshing to hear that they would not closing when they filed for bankruptcy. The changes they are making are exciting and I plan to stick around to see all of them come to fruition.
