As everyone's health and safety is our number one priority, we have established new protocols to get you back to Velo-CT. Our goal is to ensure a safe and healthy environment and to meet all Federal, State, local, CDC, and USASwimming guidelines and regulations.
We will continue to make any necessary adjustments to our procedures to remain compliant with current guidelines and regulations.
Members and Non-Members may schedule Lap Lane and Fitness Station time using our reservation system. (No walk-ins.)
The Pilates Studio is open and offering group as well as private sessions.
Private and Semi-Private Lessons are being scheduled for both in-water and Pool Deck instruction.
Group Lessons and REC Team are back. We are offering “short programs” as opposed to the rolling monthly lessons we have done historically. Planning and committing when everything is changing can be difficult. These short programs allow you the Parent to find the short program that fits your schedule now. If there is not a program that fits your current schedule, please check back. We are adding new programs almost daily.
Family Swim remains suspended.
We will continue to re-introduce programming while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Masks must be worn at all times while in the Facility to the point of water entry or within the Pilates Studio (spaced for 12’ distancing). For lap swimmers, we recommend bringing a labeled plastic bag so that you can keep your mask dry by the blocks while enjoying your swim. Masks must be put back on when exiting the water or the Pilates Studio. No one will be permitted into the building without a mask.
Access to Velo-CT is by reservation or class enrollment only. This will help to facilitate social distancing and allow for the extra cleaning. We have implemented a new system in which Members & Non-Members can easily reserve lap lane and/or fitness center time. Important note: Open Swim is currently suspended. Lap Lanes are for Lap Swimming ONLY at this time.
No one is permitted into the building without a reservation or scheduled class. Reservations must be made PRIOR to arrival. Entry is allowed no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation or class time.
Each swimmer/athlete is required to submit a Daily Health Declaration prior to each arrival. For Lap Lane & Fitness Center reservations as well as Private Lessons, a link to the form will be provided in your confirmation/reminder. This version will be able to be completed and submitted electronically. For our Group Lesson and REC Program participants, a PDF copy of the form will be sent via e-mail prior to the start of the Program.
